Orange River Warning Status

This is from RREM\CERT

We have put the Town of Rocky Ripple on Orange River Warning status. As of approximately 8 am this morning the NOAA river level was predicted to go to 17 feet at Nora by Sunday. Please pass this information to anyone you may know in town and follow the potential flood preparatory guidelines set fourth by the Red Cross.

Currently the river level has not reached the gage at the Rocky Ripple Town Hall. This message is not intended to instill fear or panic in anyone only to give people plenty of time to prepare for a possible high water event.
